Canon G9 Wide Angle & Telephoto Lens Problem

Please watch the video and tell me if I’m doing something wrong. Canon g9 works fine. When I install a Fotodiox wide Angle Lens, a black circle appears. Same with the Telephoto lens, but worse. The tube convertor is compatible with Canon G9. I select wide and telephoto from the menu, but nothing changes.
